How long does it take to fully charge the battery?

Herald E-Bikes charge fully in 4–6 hours from a standard 5A home socket. With a fast charger (if available), you can get 80% charge in approximately 2.5 hours. We recommend overnight charging for daily commuters.

What does the 5-year warranty cover?

The warranty covers the battery pack and motor for 5 full years from date of purchase. This includes manufacturing defects, capacity degradation beyond acceptable limits, and motor performance issues. Physical damage is excluded.

Do I need a driving licence to ride a Herald E-Bike?

Herald E-Bikes are classified as Low-Speed Electric Vehicles under Indian law. Models with speed under 25 km/hr do not require a licence. However, for our 70 km/hr models (Legend Pro, Royal Pro, Rider), a valid driving licence is recommended. Please check current local regulations with us.

What is the cost of electricity per km?

Herald E-Bikes cost approximately ₹0.08–₹0.12 per km in electricity — compared to ₹3–₹4 per km for petrol bikes. On a 100 km daily commute, you can save ₹3,000–₹4,500 every month.

Can I get the bike registered and insured through your dealership?

Yes! MG Motors Kota provides complete end-to-end assistance including RTO registration, insurance documentation, and subsidy applications. We handle all paperwork so you can focus on your first ride.

Is there a test ride available at the showroom?
